There have been many video editors for years, but I’ve been the most successful, because at the time I found videos on YouTube to be the most popular and the most valuable resources for editing. While I didn’t always have a background in computer graphics, I did know one thing: I was at one point the fastest growing video editor – at least in the beginning. I was one of the first to write a feature on Video Studio, which was a completely new tool, and the first to offer a feature on video editors.
My current role is to work full-time on video editors and to help out with the other big tasks; as a video editor, I write a pretty complex video production and editing training (http://cognitionbase.10001mb.com/learn-video-shoot) editor.
Have you ever been in a situation where you’re dealing with something like this?
I’m very lucky. The first time I felt like I had this problem was working on a video game project, but it was only four months ago when I was hired for this role that I had to leave my house so I can focus on writing my next project. I had a couple of different projects going but then the problem arose. I’d already had five years’ experience and I was on an island outside of New Zealand – and it started to feel very real. And when I saw this video of a guy having a sword fight against zombies that I immediately said, “oh man, I’m really good at this,” which brought it into my own mental world. It was real. It would never end.
And that’s amazing (laughs); you’re also doing all kinds of technical stuff, like working in video production.
I’d always be an incredibly good-looking person, a great photographer, if I wasn’t very talented, and there was no way I could stop working. I loved everything I did. I loved doing interviews because I knew it would blow up my game, it would just make me look good. Being able to do all that stuff in one small space and do it so fast meant I had less distractions.
Have you ever been more creative or creative and done more work?
We have all worked on our own projects, but at the same time there haven’t been any really dramatic changes. There have been more creative people in the industry, but I’ve always been a very hard worker. I am always working with different people, from different angles. One of the things I always found really interesting in the industry is how many people in games are so passionate about
